Photo Contest - Self Portrait
I loved this weeks challenge. Although after snapping a bunch of pics I have to say I that I probably shouldn't have gone with anything this close up!! Where did all those lines on my face come from? I swear they weren't there twenty years ago!! LOL Oh well, it is what it is and here is my contribution to this weeks Self Portrait (after applying a little {hehehe] softening!!!)

Intense is a good word. It's a great portrait...piercing. (I'll agree about those lines, except on my face! Where did my 20 year old skin go?!) :)

Lines...yeah, 20 years ago I took my smooth skin for granted...today the lines tell me where I've been AND where I'm headed...kinda like a roadmap for life. Once I get over the initial shock of seeing myself in the mirror the first second...I'm okay with it!
